Career Coaching For Authors

Service Description

This is a multi-tiered process, and we’ll work with you extensively to help you achieve your goals and find your path. Tier One: 1. You’ll complete a survey and then we’ll schedule a (30 minute) Zoom meeting or a phone call to discuss your current view of publishing and what you want to achieve. We’ll also discuss the type of books you want to write and what that means for your career. 2. We will provide ongoing coaching for a period of two months to support you as you write and help you make important publishing decisions. Tier Two: We’ll have two 30 minutes sessions to discuss your options, and help you figure out what will work best for you. 1. During the first session, we’ll work with you to solidify what you’d like to achieve and then help develop the steps you need to take to be successful as you define success. Should you be an indie writer? Should you look into traditional publishing? Or, perhaps, should you be a combo of the two? With one-on-one coaching and drawing on our extensive experience, we’ll help you figure it out. 2. During the second session, we’ll go more in depth to discuss your goals, point of view on ways to publish, timeline for getting your book in the hands of readers, current skill set with writing and publishing, and your comfort with managing a business all play into the decisions you make. , Tier Three: We’ll conduct a final (30 minute) meeting, during which you can ask any remaining questions, and we’ll help you create a concrete plan with action steps for your future. This service also includes an author gift basket full of things to help and inspire you.
